Welcome back to my blog! Unfortunately, I don't have many updates for today. The blog is a day late because I've been incredibly busy with my theatre tech job. We're in tech week, and for those who don't know, tech week is the week before performances where we move out of the rehearsal space and into the theatre. All things tech happen this week, including lights, set changes, props, audio, and many other aspects. I'm the props master, and there are so many props in this musical to keep track of, it's insane! Most of my time has been spent either at the theatre or sleeping. So I don't have much to share, but I'll share what I have!
I've been working on making a game similar to Gun Fight, and this is what I have so far! There's still a lot of stuff I need to make and polish, but I'm building up the essentials first.
Lastly, I have a little update on Sea Slug Sanctuary! I worked on the title screen a little bit yesterday before rehearsal. I was inspired by an example on Construct for an animated title screen by Viridino Studios, it looks absolutely amazing and I wanted to try and bring some of that magic into my own game! So far, I've made the ocean background, sand background, and sand foreground. Together they look like this, but I still need to expand the bottom of the sand and the top of the ocean so that there's a cool scrolling effect. I've exported each of them as separate images so that they can move independently of each other in the animation.

The plan is to have the sand scroll up and the ocean scroll down to reveal a nudibranch on a rock, and I'm so excited to see how it pans out!
Sorry again for the sparse update, next week I'll be able to have more content to share! If you have any constructive criticism or thoughts on what I've shared today, feel free to leave a comment down below! And if you want to get a notification whenever I post a blog, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and submit your email in the box below!
Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!
