Welcome to my blog! This is where I'll be detailing my weekly progress on various game development projects. This week, I finalized a game I'm working on called Zoe's Walk in the Park. It's an endless auto side scroller where you control a dog called Zoe. She is modeled after my own dog! As various obstacles get in her way, you can either jump or duck to avoid losing hearts. Getting a bone can heal one of your hearts up to three. It features a scrolling background and speeds up over time. This is the first game I've made without a specific tutorial on how to make it, and I'm very proud! I made all of the art myself using some references and learned a lot about Construct with this project. I'm hoping to publish it officially by next week, so look forward to another blog post with a link to that!
